Title: Stipend - Costume Designer (Fall Play) (Internal Only) (SY24-25)
Dates: Must be avaialble from November 2024-February 2025.
Costume Designer Duties:
Design and create costumes for all cast members in the fall play. The costume designer is expected to have at least one pre-production meeting with the production team before the audition process begins. After that point, it is expected that the designer and production team will remain in contact on an as needed basis and will have at least one formal production status meeting, approximately half-way through the rehearsal process. The final costumes, with the exception of some minor tweaking, should be complete no later than the Monday of tech. week of a production. During this time, the costume designer is responsible for holding zoom meetings with each cast member to choose costumes, facilitate measuring processes, and coordinate appropriate outfits for the production. The designer will distribute costumes as needed.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator with experience in play production.
Compensation: Stipend- $1,000
