Title: Stipend - ESY Paraprofessional (Elementary @ MCB) (Internal Only) (MCB Complex) (Internal Only) (Summer 2024)

 

General Duties:

 

The paraprofessional's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assists, supports, and works closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in providing educational support for Special Education classrooms.
• Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials or skills initially introduced and outlined by licensed staff.
• Assists the teacher in special strategies for reinforcing learning materials and skills based on a sympathetic understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities.
• Monitors work, supervises curriculum-based testing and makeup work, as assigned by the staff.
• Assists in classroom and instructional duties as assigned by the teacher.

Qualifications: 

• The ideal candidate will be a current paraprofessional in the grades listed above.

Compensation: $1760 Stipend

Summer school work and planning includes, but is not limited to, the summer school
schedule which is:

*Please note, the summer schedule is a bit unorthodox due to the 4th of July.

 

Summer School will run from July 1st-July 25th. Work day is a 4 hour work day.

• Week 1 - Monday July 1st - Friday July 3rd (3 day week)
• Week 2 - Monday July 8th - Friday July 12th (5 day week)
• Week 3 - Monday July 15th -Thursday July 18th
• Week 4 - Monday July 22nd - Thursday July 25th
