Job Responsibilities:

 

The Literacy and Humanities Coordinator is responsible for planning, development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum and professional development within the areas of Language Arts, Literacy, and History and Social Studies.

Qualifications Required:

  1. MA DESE licensure in Supervisor/Director;
  2. Master’s Degree in Reading, English, Humanities, Social Studies or other educational area;
  3. Demonstrated success with curriculum development and implementation;
  4. Experience in collaborative educational environment and shared decision-making;
  5. Ability to work and communicate effectively with others; ability to work with and support diverse learners;
  6. Citizenship, residency or work visa required

In accordance with the contract with the Chelsea Administrators’ Association (CAA). The work year for this position is 215 days. See CPS website for salary information.
