Title: Students - Peer Mentor - Calculus Project (District-Wide) (Summer 2024)

General Duties: Peer mentors will collaborate with the teacher to support the students in the class. Peer mentors will work with individual students or small groups virtually to support the students with their learning. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Note: These are minimum requirements. Mentors may expand upon any of these duties as they see fit, but must meet these daily requirements. 

 

Qualifications: 

Compensation: Peer mentors will be paid at the Students Worker rate ($15.75) not to exceed $1,008.

Disclaimer: While we make every effort to accurately anticipate the number of positions posted, the actual number is dependent on the number of students that agree to participate in the program. In the event that the number of qualified staff is not sufficient to cover classroom needs, interested applicants could lead two classes for a double stipend. Class sizes for 

substantially separate classrooms may range from 7 to 12 students, with rare exceptions based on programmatic needs. Class sizes for non-special education classrooms may range from 15- 20 students, with rare exceptions. Grade level refers to the student’s 21-22 assigned grade.
