Title: Stipend - SEL School-Based Team Member (Internal Only) (WSTA) (SY24-25)
Reports to: Building Principal
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- As an School-Based SEL Team member, you play a crucial role in supporting SEL initiatives and curriculum development within the school. The SEL school-based team will be a representative group of individuals whose task is to lead a coordinated approach and continuous improvement of schoolwide SEL implementation. The team will meet after school for a total of 10 hours per person. These meetings will start in November and continue until June, allowing ample time for collaboration and planning to enhance SEL practices in the school community.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be an educator at one of our 11 schools. We are looking for a well represented group of educators (classroom teachers, instructional coaches, reading specialists, special education teachers, support staff, EL teachers).
Compensation: Teachers will be paid at the contractual rate for work outside of the school day. This work will be done between November and June (10 hours per person).
Dates/Time: Full Academic Year
- Approximately First Day of School - Approximately Last Day of School
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (2 hours per day), plus up to 2 additional floating afterschool hours weekly, done in coordination with the Barr Core Team Leads
