Title: Stipend - Summer Site Supervisor - Elementary ESY (Internal Only) (Summer 2024)

Shifts:

This Posting has two positions. Please state your preferred position in you Letter of Intent

• 1 @ 7:30 am – 1:00 pm
• 1 @ 12:30 pm – 6:00 pm

General Duties:

The Learning Summer Site Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Planning and collaborating with administration and staff for all aspects related to the creation and implementation of a summer learning program
• Taking part in the hiring process
• Communication/collaboration with applicable staff and stakeholders including but not limited to nursing, technology, payroll, custodial staff, etc
• Oversight of student recruitment and family outreach
• Oversight of all staff to ensure requirements are met
• Scheduling and logistics
• Supporting summer staff with planning and operations, day to day issues, and overseeing the tracking and collection of student data (participation, attendance, achievement)
• Grant requirement compliance if applicable

Qualifications: 

• Current Chelsea Early Childhood Program Educator with evidence of leadership and expertise.
• Familiarity with and an understanding of the Extended Day
• Program and Summer Reading/ELL Program.
• Must be able to implement policies and procedures of the Chelsea
• Early Childhood Programs.
• Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $10,728 Stipend

Summer school work and planning includes, but is not limited to, the summer school schedule which is:

*Please note, the summer schedule is a bit unorthodox due to the 4th of July.

Summer School will run from July 1, 2024-August 9, 2024 (Monday-Friday, from 7:30am-6pm).

The Supervisory shift times are listed above.
